This 2020 Capital COTY award winning project is a modern master suite second floor addition that blends with the existing 1948 Colonial and 1980's rear sunroom addition. A tall bay window integrated with the Family Room below compliments the street view. Floor to ceiling windows, a retractable wall, a floating vanity and vaulted ceiling with indirect lighting emanating from a continuous light box make the light-filled space feel larger than its actual size.

“Luther designed for us a second-floor bedroom suite extension above an existing den and service areas. Our house is an Arlington colonial from 1948, but we wanted to add a modern looking structure. Luther’s design tastefully blended its front with the vernacular of the street and fully expressed its modern look on the side and the back of the house.
